These are a tasty snack for when you are craving something sweet. They are dairy-free, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, nutrient dense and full of antioxidants. Did I already mention, that they are dangerously delicious!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup hemp hearts
- ½ cup raw cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp virgin coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch of sea salt
Other optional additions:
- 1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp spirulina
- 2 tbsp nut or seed butter
- 2 tbsp goji berries
- 2 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
Preparation:
Put all ingredients in a food processor, mix until smooth. Roll into balls. You can roll in shredded coconut or dust with cocoa if you like. Store in the freezer for optimal freshness.
