This is a delicious and nutritious way to start your day. It is one of my favourite breakfast smoothies and it is ready in under 2 minutes.
- 2 heaping tbsp hemp hearts
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut or coconut oil
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp spirulina or 2 handfuls of spinach (organic preferably)
- 6-8 ounces unsweetened almond milk
- ½ cup fresh or frozen bluberries
- ½ banana frozen
Place all ingredients in a blender and combine thoroughly. Enjoy!
