I would like to dedicate this recipe to all the Mary’s crackers lovers out there. This recipe requires very little prep or clean up and is full of goodness. These are a great accompaniment to soups, crumbled on salads or dipped in hummus or guacamole or you can simply enjoy them on their own. If you are uncomfortable in the kitchen….this is a great recipe for you because it does not require any fancy equipment.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 1-2 minutes. Transfer to the baking sheet and press down evenly into a thin layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Then use a spatula to carefully flip over and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let cool completely, then break apart into pieces or cut them into wedges with your pizza cutter. (Note: the crackers will harden as they cool.)
Enjoy!
