I would like to dedicate this recipe to all the Mary’s crackers lovers out there.  This recipe requires very little prep or clean up and is full of goodness. These are a great accompaniment to soups, crumbled on salads or dipped in hummus or guacamole or you can simply enjoy them on their own.  If you are uncomfortable in the kitchen….this is a great recipe for you because it does not require any fancy equipment.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 1-2 minutes. Transfer to the baking sheet and press down evenly into a thin layer.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes. Then use a spatula to carefully flip over and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Let cool completely, then break apart into pieces or cut them into wedges with your pizza cutter. (Note: the crackers will harden as they cool.)

Enjoy!
